Stockholm City Hall is located at Hantverkargatan 1 on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm. It took 15 years to complete the construction work and opened in midsummer evening June 23, 1923. The City Hall exterior and interior also carries influences of including Italian architecture, Nordic, Gothic and Islamic art. Stockholm City Hall is the seat of the Municipality of Stockholm governance and leadership; it is here Stockholm city council meets and Mayors working.
Stockholm City Hall has become known among other things, its use as a setting for the annual Nobel festivities, held on 10 December each year. It counts as one of the country foremost examples of the national romantic style. With its 106 meter high tower is also a famous landmark in Stockholm and was in 2012 still number four among Stockholms tallest buildings. The City Hall building contains best-known theaters include the Blue Hall, Golden Hall and the Prince gallery. For the artistic decoration engaged a wide range of artists and designers, among them the brothers Aaron and Gustaf Sandberg, Carl Eldh, Christian Eriksson, Prince Eugen, Axel Törneman, Einar Forseth and Carl Malmsten.
Public tours are usually avaible on 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 pm daily; guided tours can also be fixed on arrival or by call.
Tickets can be bought on the entrance.

How to be there?
Bus: Take Bus no 3 or Bus no 62 from the City to City Hall.
Walk: It takes few minutes walk from Radhuset or T-Centralen subway stations to reach Stockholm City Hall.

I must call Stockholm City Hall building as most attractive point for the visitors . it is in city on the east of Kungsholmen island, Riddarfjärden shore is in its north and building can easily be seen from islands of Riddarholmen and Södermalm.
