The largest and the main railway station in Sweden is the Stockholm central Station that’s situated in the city center in the district of Norrmalm at Vasagatan. Over 200,000 visitors travel daily via this Station that was opened in 18 July 1871. It’s the busiest station in entire Sweden. Everyone who visits Sweden always use this Station for exploring the country. A statue of Nils Ericson stands in front of Stockholm central station.

The station is popular because it has all the facilities and offers the services of a modern railway station. The station is served by SJ trains which are the high speed trains (X2000) and connect Malmö, Göteborg and Oslo, connecting cities like Malmö, Copenhagen, Göteborg, and Strömstad and night trains to Lulea, Narvik and Malmö. Arlanda Express connects Stockholm-Arlanda Airport to this station.

A metro system Tunnelbana connects this station. Arlanda Express, Intercity trains, Stockholm commuter rail (SL), SJ commuter rail are the trains that operate through this station. The main service offered by the station include:
