Changing of Guards

One should not miss changing of guard ceremony in-front of Royal Palace in Gamla Stan.

The ceremony is being held daily around 12.15 pm and took about 40 minutes. While accompanied a foot parade, starts around 11.30am by a military band through the city and arrive at palace. It departs either from Army Museum or Cavalry Barracks (in case if it is mounted guard) and during winter parade starts from Mynttorget public squire.

During holidays and Sunday changing take place around 1.15 pm.
