The Vasa Museum is called Vasamuseet in Swedish; it exhibits the actual warship which was sunk in Stockholm Harbor on its maiden expedition in 1628, during the heyday of Swedish Empire. This Vasa is one in its type and excellence which was found from water almost in entirely preserved state during year 1961. A must-see, especially since it is uncertain whether current methods of preservation will be able to maintain her condition in years to come. Special arranges such as lifts for motion disabilities people to see different levels of this Warship. 

The museum presents complete sculpt of the people whose were found in the ship skeleton, further wooden statues, the oldest preserved sail of the world which were fund on the ship, and many other retrieved objects as well.

How to be there?
Tram: From the Central station (Sergels torg) city tramway line7, Stop at  Vasamuseet (or Nordiska Museet).
Bus: Bus 44 stops at the Nordiska Museum. Bus 69 and 76 to stop at Djurgården. 
Subway: Station Karlaplan a 10 minutes walk or take bus 44 to Vasamuseet.
Walk: It may take about 30 minutes from Central Station or 10 minutes Walk from subway Station Karlaplan.
Ferry: May take a ferry to Djurgården from Slussen, and can also take a ferry from Nybroplan.
