The Royal Armoury is one of the Sweden oldest museum which was established by king Gustav II Adolph in 1628 in order to preserve his clothes he had been wearing during his campaign to Poland, later his horse was preserve as well; it contains royal dresses and costumes till present days. 

Facilities for the children to read, play and draw. 
Location:  Cellar of the Royal Palace, southern wing.
Admission:  
Adults : 100 SEK 
Children Below 19 Years : FREE
Can get Free admission on Thursdays 5 PM - 8 PM

Subway: Red or green subway line Gamla stan Station 
Bus:  Bus number 43, 46, 55, 59 to busstop Slottsbacken, Bus no. 3, 53 to busstop Mälartorget and  Bus no. 62, 65 to busstop Karl XII\\\'s torg.
