It is a peaceful place and perfect idea for picnics, provides good ground if you are looking for a long walk. Its vast forest and parkland makes it lovable point for both locals and visitors. 

One may find many museums, restaurants and other attractions in Djurgården area, it is a best recreational sport for everyone.

You do not even need to visit Stockholm top attractions such as  Skansen, Gröna Lund or the Vasa Museum, just stroll around the parks and spend few hours to explore the woodland and green spaces, relax and enjoy in the nature!

How to be there?
Tram: From the Central station (Sergels torg) city tramway line7, Stop at  Vasamuseet (or Nordiska Museet).
Bus: Bus 44 stops at the Nordiska Museum. Bus 69 and 76 to stop at Djurgården. 
Subway: Station Karlaplan a 10 minutes walk or take bus 44 to Vasamuseet.
Walk: It may take about 30 minutes from Central Station or 10 minutes Walk from subway Station Karlaplan.
Ferry: May take a ferry to Djurgården from Slussen, and can also take a ferry from Nybroplan.
